Welcome back to ‘Brooke’s Best Bits’. The betconnect Cricket pros just can’t stop winning! Cricket has now been the top performing sport on betconnect for the last 3 weeks, and the pro 86048066 is right at the heart of it. 86048066 had another successful week on the IPL, finishing on a weekly ROI of 70.2%. A 16/1 winner for ClactonOnSea last Tuesday lands them 2nd place with a solid weekly ROI of 69.3%. Kelly just sneaks into the top 3 with 63.8%, after backing a couple of first and anytime goalscorers last week.
A rare poor week for Feltham1, who unfortunately didn’t back a winner. The punters are still very much interested however, as Feltham1 gained the most connections with 38. The 50/1 winner for Birkdale and benraw123 2 weeks ago obviously attracted some attention, as they were the 2nd and 3rd most connected pros last week. Birkdale gained 33, with benraw123 just behind on 29.
A debut for the pro Words82 on ‘Brooke’s Best Bits’, as they landed an excellent bet on the Monte-Carlo Masters over the weekend. Words82 backed the underdog Fabio Fognini at 9/1, to beat clay specialist and world number 2, Rafael Nadal. Fognini, who had already beaten world number 3 Zverev in the Round of 16, took a surprising 1 set lead after breaking Nadal’s serve 3 times. The second set was much the same story. Fognini capitalised on all 3 break point attempts, taking the set 6-2, and headed into the Final. Fognini went on to beat the Serbian Lajovic by 2 sets to nil to win the tournament. What a performance by both Fognini and Words82!
The extra category we’ll be looking at this week is the ‘Highlight of The Week’. The highlight comes from the 15:15 at Cheltenham last Thursday, and the remarkable performance from Racing1. Racing1 backed 2 horses against the field, Inessa at 7/1, and Sunshade at 14/1, both each way. As you might have guessed, they both returned a profit! It was Inessa who was looking like Racing1‘s best chance, as she lead the field turning for home. However Nico de Boinville was motionless upon Sunshade, as the mare cruised up along side the front 2. Sunshade lead jumping the last, and was driven out by de Boinville to win by just over 3 lengths. While Inessa kept on well to take 3rd place. The perfect result for Racing1!
